Cell Center Services

The Cell Center Service Facility (CCSF) is primarily a cell culture and protein production core. We offer several services to assist with customers’ cell culture needs:

• Large-Scale Mammalian or Insect Cell Culture
• Transfection of Mammalian Cells
• Training of personnel in basic cell culture techniques
• Cell Culture Services
  • Production and Purification of Antibodies and other Proteins
  • Antibody conjugation and fragmentation
  • Storage of customers’ cells in CCSF LN2 freezers
  • Growth of seed cultures for many common cell lines
  • Mycoplasma testing
  • Endotoxin testing
  • EBV transformation of mammalian cells
  • Fly food for the maintenance of Drosophila
  • Prepared by CCSF and for sale through the Cell Center Stockroom:
    • Cell culture related reagents
    • Anti myc antibodies
    • Agar plates with and without antibiotics
